Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary PRU

Location: Salford, Greater Manchester

Salary: £95–£120 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term

Start Date: ASAP or September 2025

Make a Difference in a Specialist Primary PRU Setting - Hays Education are working in partnership with a highly regarded Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Salford to recruit a passionate and experienced Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with complex needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

About the School
  • This specialist PRU caters to primary-aged pupils (4–11) who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream schools. Many pupils have SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, and some have EHCPs. The school provides both short-term intervention placements and longer-term support, depending on individual needs.
