Overview

Are you an enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in supporting pupils? We are looking for Teaching Assistants to join our school. We provide a supportive and inclusive environment aimed at raising standards and providing a rich and enjoyable curriculum, where every child is encouraged to be safe, caring and ready to learn. The successful candidates will need a wide range of skills to support our children's needs and will have a genuine desire to ensure children reach their full potential.

Hours, Pay and Term

We have full-time positions of 30 hours per week (6 hours per day, Monday–Friday) and part-time positions of 15 hours per week (3 hours on Wednesday pm and 6 hours per day Thursday and Friday). Please indicate on your application form which role you are interested in.

The pay scale is KSA at £24,513 FTE which equates to approximately £16,880 per annum pro rata for the 30 hour role and approximately £8,440 for the 15 hour role. The role is for 38 weeks per year (term-time only).

Qualifications and Selection

• A good standard of general education; GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above are desirable.
• A formal 30 minute interview will take place with a panel comprising members of the Leadership Team. Candidates will be required to participate in a 15-minute activity with a small group of pupils.
• Verification of qualifications will be required before employment can commence; do not declare any qualifications unless you can produce the original certificate.

• It is an offence to apply for this role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
