Job summary

Emmanuel Middle School in Verwood (Dorset) is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible, 22 hours per week, term time only, on a fixed term contract to 31 August 2027. Lunchtime supervision duties may apply.

The successful candidate will have experience with pupils with educational needs, work with the SENDCo, and support teachers to raise achievement and behaviour while upholding the school's Christian ethos. Actual salary £12,749 - £12,951 per annum (Grade 5).

Qualifications

• Experience of working with pupils with educational needs.
• Able to liaise with the SENDCo and other agencies as required.
• Enthusiastic, well-motivated, team player, and able to support the school ethos.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in promoting high standards of achievement and behaviour.
