Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Teaching Assistant for our partner school in Wellingborough. The role involves supporting pupils inside and outside the classroom, delivering tailored learning, and helping students develop confidence and engagement.

The ideal candidate has SEN/SEMH experience, a calm and patient approach, and a passion for education. Term-time, full-time hours and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, ideally in SEN or SEMH settings.
• Calm, compassionate, patient approach.
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students and staff.
• Genuine passion for education and supporting vulnerable learners.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students in learning across a range of subjects.
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Providing 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Assisting with planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons.
• Contributing to a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
