Job summary

Orchard Meadow Primary School, part of United Learning, seeks a proactive Teaching Assistant to support teachers in delivering high-quality learning and targeted interventions for diverse learners, including SEND and EAL pupils.

You will foster an inclusive, calm classroom environment, assist with behaviour support, and help pupils reach their full academic and social potential through collaborative teamwork with colleagues across the school community.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored individual and small-group support to pupils.
• Support high-quality teaching and learning under teachers' guidance.
• Offer targeted intervention, guidance, and appropriate challenge to help students reach potential.
• Help diverse learners, including SEND and EAL pupils, access learning and build confidence.
