Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary schools in Chesterfield and surrounding areas. Roles include regular supply work, longer-term placements and permanent opportunities to fit your experience and availability.

You will support teachers, work with individuals or small groups, and help create an inclusive learning environment. The role suits those with Level 2 TA qualification, reliability and a flexible approach.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above.
• Have experience working with children or young people.
• Are enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting pupils.
• Can work effectively as part of a school team.
• Have a positive and flexible approach.
• Are ideally available full-time, although regular part-time availability will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons.
• Working with individuals and small groups of pupils.
• Supporting children with additional learning needs where required.
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and activities.
• Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
• Providing pastoral and academic support to pupils.
