Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support a range of Primary Schools across Oldham. You will work with class teachers to deliver lessons, support pupils 1:1 or in small groups, and help create an inclusive learning environment.

Experience in schools or childcare is valued, as is a proactive, patient approach. Roles include day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements with competitive daily pay and ongoing recruitment team support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting.
• Patient, proactive approach in the classroom.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and activities
• Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom
• Assisting with preparation of learning resources and materials
• Encouraging pupils' confidence, engagement, and progress
