William Austin Junior School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with an EHCP in Year 3 from Sep 2026 to Jul 2030. The role is 30.25 hours weekly, with specific hours Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri 8:45am–3:30pm and Tue 8:45am–5:00pm, term-time plus five training days.
The successful candidate will hold NVQ Level 2 or above, have experience with diverse SEN needs, and be a caring, communicative team player.

We require a Teaching Assistant who can support our pupils in all aspects of teaching and learning both in and out of the classroom. This is a Fixed Term position linked to supporting a pupil with an EHCP in Year 3 from September 2026 to July 2030 or until the child leaves.
The role is 30.25 hours per week working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8:45am to 3:30pm (1hour lunch) and Tuesday 8:45am to 5:00pm (1 hour for lunch), term-time only plus 5 training days.
Applicants for this public-facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse, and provide effective help or advice, fluently in spoken English.
