Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. in partnership with Litherland Moss Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team with an immediate start. You will support the teacher and children with EYFS activities, providing one-to-one and small-group help to develop early reading, writing and numeracy.

Applicants should be caring, patient and nurturing, able to build positive relationships with children, and maintain safeguarding standards. DBS update service is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a school, nursery or educational setting is desirable.
• Experience supporting young children in EYFS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A fully enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of EYFS activities and learning.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to children.
• Supporting children's early reading, writing and numeracy development.
• Helping children develop confidence, independence and communication skills.
• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development.

The Supply Register is proud to be working alongside Litherland Moss Primary School, who are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their school immediately.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or someone with relevant experience who is passionate about supporting young children with their learning, development and wellbeing.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role within the classroom, supporting the teacher and children to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment.

The Role

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a school, nursery or educational setting is desirable
• Experience supporting young children or children in EYFS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Ability to build positive relationships with children
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
• A good understanding of safeguarding and the importance of following school procedures
• A fully enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

DBS REQUIREMENTA fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required for this role. Candidates must be able to provide their DBS details for verification before commencing work.
