Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Bracknell is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school. You will support pupils across the primary age range, helping to create an inclusive, engaging classroom where every child can reach their potential.

You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver lessons and provide tailored support for learners, including those with SEND and phonics interventions.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
• Positive, patient and caring approach to supporting children's learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and progress.
• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND.
• Assist with preparation and organisation of classroom resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and develop pupil confidence and independence.
• Support literacy, numeracy and phonics interventions.
• Record pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
• Foster relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers.
• Ensure safeguarding and the welfare of pupils.
