Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Blackburn is seeking a motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support learning across all year groups in a primary school. The role runs full-time from 8:30am to 3:30pm starting in September and is ongoing.

You will work alongside the class teacher to support children’s learning and development, with 1-1 and small-group support, alongside completing assessments and maintaining accurate records. DBS Update Service and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and right to work in the UK
  • Knowledge of phonics and early years learning (Desirable)
  • Experience working with children with SEND (Desirable)
  • Experience using ICT to support learning (Desirable)

Teaching Assistant - Blackburn

Tradewind are seeking a motivated and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a Primary School within the Blackburn area. The role will start in September on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher to support the learning and development of children across all year groups.
