Position Overview

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible at a local Tameside School, covering an existing vacancy. The role is 5 days a week, Monday‑Friday 8:30‑3:30pm, with pay between £95 and £100 per day initially.

Key Responsibilities

The Teaching Assistant will support across all areas of the school and work with SEND pupils. The role requires assisting with behaviour management and delivering phonics instruction, with knowledge of SEND strategies and phonics considered essential.

Requirements

• Experience working within schools in the UK
• Experience supporting within UK schools
• Experience supporting SEND pupils and knowledge of EYFS and KS1 curriculum
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Full CV history
• Legal right to work in the UK
