Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a supportive primary school in Whitefield for an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The role involves providing classroom support across the primary age range, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting small intervention groups.

The successful candidate will possess a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, UK primary school experience, and a committed, proactive approach to helping pupils succeed.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Has previous experience working within a UK primary school.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across the primary curriculum.
• Deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy.
• Work with individuals and small groups to raise attainment.
• Prepare classroom resources and learning activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
• Support children with additional learning needs where required.
• Maintain accurate records and provide feedback to teachers.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Whitefield, Bury

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a supportive primary school in Whitefield for an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a welcoming school community where every member of staff plays an important role in helping pupils succeed.

The successful candidate will provide classroom support across the primary age range, working alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and helping pupils to achieve their full potential. You will also support small intervention groups and provide one‑to‑one assistance where required.

This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to providing high‑quality support within the classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Has previous experience working within a UK primary school.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Has a positive, flexible and proactive attitude.
• Is passionate about supporting children's learning.
• Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
