Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd. is seeking proactive Teaching Assistants to support pupils in local Bishop Auckland schools. You will work across primary and secondary settings, adapting to a range of abilities and SEN/SEMH needs.

Qualifications are a bonus, but strong practical experience, reliability and a positive attitude are valued. The role offers day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements with a dedicated consultant to help you find the right school.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not required.
• Strong practical classroom experience and positive attitude.
• Ability to support pupils across a range of abilities, including SEN/SEMH.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across varied abilities in local primary and secondary schools.
• Provide proactive behavioural support and learning assistance.
• Contribute to inclusive education for students with additional learning needs.
