About this Role

Finham Park School is looking to recruit a passionate andconscientious teaching assistant to provide support for some of our studentswith special educational needs.

You will join a dedicated, experienced, and collaborativeteam within our Gateway provision, where inclusion is not just a priority but ashared passion. We offer a comprehensive induction programme, alongside ongoingopportunities for professional development-allowing you to grow in the rolewhile contributing your own experience, insights, and expertise.

This role is designed at a recent school/university leaverwho wishes to gain valuable experience in a school environment before pursuingfurther opportunities within education that may include progression within SENDsupport, but also teaching, educational psychology and other school-basedcareers.

The successful candidate will benefit from both onsitetraining, and access to external qualifications to help them build their CV. Acomprehensive induction programme will also be offered.

Finham Park is a popular and successful 11 -18 comprehensiveschool situated in the south-west of Coventry. It has an excellent reputationwithin the local community as well as nationally and internationally. Theschool performs consistently well across all measures with attendance and examresults exceeding both regional and national averages.

Finham Park has also been instrumental in creating Teaching andLearning Communities as part of our CPD programme. This follows the ideas andresearch of Dylan William.
