Job summary

The Wellington Academy is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive school community. You will work under the direction of class teachers to support students’ academic, social and emotional development, building positive relationships and adapting approaches to individual needs.

This permanent post is term-time only, with a 37-hour week pattern. The salary aligns with NJC Grade D; actual salary ranges provided in the ad, with start dates in November 2026.

Actual Salary: £21,662.49 - £22,354.04 (DOE)

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only 37 Hours Per Week

Working Pattern, Mon - Thurs 8AM - 4PM and Fri 8AM - 3:30PM
