Job summary

Inspire ATA is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant Apprentice to support pupils in a classroom setting in Leicester. You will gain hands‑on experience while working towards a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification with LET ME PLAY LIMITED as training provider.

The role involves assisting teachers, supporting pupils with diverse needs, and helping maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. Training and progression opportunities are available upon successful apprenticeship completion.

Qualifications

• Essential GCSE English at grade A*-C/9-4.
• Essential GCSE Maths at grade A*-C/9-4.
• Willingness to undertake apprenticeship training and commit to learning.
• Demonstrated ability to support pupils and teachers in a classroom.

Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher with development and education of pupils.
• Assist in learning activities and managing pupils' needs under staff direction.
• Provide support to pupils with SEND to overcome barriers to learning.
• Assist with personal care and welfare needs of pupils, including basic physiotherapy support as required.
