Job summary

Qualifications

• Essential GCSE English at A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent.
• Essential GCSE Maths at A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent.
• Strong communication and IT skills required.
• Organisational, problem-solving and team-working abilities desired.
• Patience, initiative and a non-judgemental approach valued.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Assist in promoting pupils’ development across physical, emotional, and educational domains.
• Help implement learning programmes and therapy plans under supervision.
• Support pupils with communication needs using strategies like Signalong.
• Assist with personal care and mobility as trained.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to staff.
• Prepare classroom resources and maintain a stimulating learning environment.
• Ensure safeguarding and promote welfare of all pupils at all times.
