Job summary

Aspiration Training Ltd. is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support students' learning under the direction of teaching staff, ensuring safety and access to learning during lessons and in communal areas.

You will collaborate with teachers to use strategies, provide constructive feedback, assist with EHCPs/IBPs as appropriate, and promote safeguarding and inclusive values across the school community.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students in learning environments.
• Ability to work under guidance of qualified staff to support learner progression.
• Awareness of safeguarding policies and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Supervise groups and individual students to ensure safety and engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement learning strategies.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and needs.
• Assist with planning cycles and assessments as directed.
• Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment with appropriate resources.
• Promote safeguarding and welfare of all students in line with policies.
