Old Cleeve Church of England First School is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor and Teaching Assistant to join our diverse learning community. The role blends lunchtime supervision with classroom support to help pupils access the curriculum and feel safe, valued and included.
Working 8.30am–3.30pm, 18.75 hours per week during term time plus 5 INSET days, you will help maintain positive behaviour, support social development and contribute to an inclusive lunchtime environment.

This is a varied role combining Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) duties with Teaching
Assistant responsibilities.
During the lunchtime period, you will supervise and support pupils in the dining hall and
playground, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and enjoyment. You will encourage positive
behaviour, support children's social development and help create a happy and inclusive
lunchtime environment.
In the afternoon, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching and senior staff to support
teaching and learning in the classroom. You will help pupils access the curriculum, provide
targeted support for groups and individuals, and contribute to a positive learning environment
where all children can succeed.
