Job summary

Keystone Academy Trust is seeking a lunchtime supervisor to support pupils during the midday break. You will supervise and assist children at lunch, serve meals, and help maintain healthy eating standards and good table manners.

The role requires vigilance and a positive, supportive approach to pupils. You will also supervise activities, monitor behaviour in the playground, and ensure safety throughout the lunchtime period.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist the children during their lunch
• Serving lunch delivered to school
• Ensure standards for healthy eating and table manners are maintained
• Supervise and monitor behaviour in the playground or other designated areas during indoor play
• Lead the children in the establishment of suitable activities
• Maintain checks throughout the lunchtime period to ensure pupils are safe
• Put out appropriate play equipment for the boys ensuring items are stored safely at the end of the lunchtime period
• Be aware of and follow the school's safeguarding, fire and other emergency procedures
• Clearing the dining hall and supervision of pupils both inside the school and in the playground.
