Job summary

St Luke’s CE Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our caring, faith-informed team. This fixed-term role is 16.25 hours per week, mornings, across 38 weeks per year, with a contract until 31 July 2027.

You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning and pastoral care, helping create a positive environment where every child can thrive within our church school ethos. We value enthusiasm, flexibility and independence, with CPD opportunities and a welcoming school

St Luke’s CE Primary school is situated on the outskirts of Northampton. We are a happy school with a strong Christian ethos. We are a 2-form entry school with 400 children on roll. We are proud to be a member of Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET) and in our last Ofsted inspection, September 2025, we received good.

An opportunity has arisen for a teaching assistant to join our school. We are looking for an inspirational professional, to work within our school.
