Job summary

Supply Hive Wales is seeking a dedicated 1:1 ALN Support in Newport. The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30 during term time, ASAP start. You will provide tailored support to a pupil throughout the school day, assisting with learning, engagement and behaviour management.

Working closely with teachers, ALNCo and parents, you will adapt activities to meet needs and foster independence, confidence and positive attitudes to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare or support setting.
• A patient, nurturing and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to follow support plans and work as part of a team.
• Experience supporting children with ALN, ASD, ADHD or behavioural needs would be advantageous but not essential.
