Job summary

Milby Primary School in Nuneaton is seeking proactive Teaching Assistants to support pupils in group and 1:1 settings, in collaboration with the class teacher and SENDCo.

The role is fixed term until 31 August 2027, 32 hours 5 minutes per week, term time only (39 weeks), with salary of £19,315 (TA1) or £20,249 (TA2).

Candidates should have experience with children, a passion for teaching and learning, strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and the ability to work well with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in educational settings.
• Demonstrates passion for teaching and learning and keeps children at the heart of activities.
• Works well in a dedicated, supportive team.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support during core learning times for small groups or 1:1.
• Support in class and deliver individual interventions.
• Prepare and manage resources to support needs.
• Supervise a child or group at lunchtime.
