Job summary

Lancashire County Council's Pear Tree School in Kirkham, Preston, Lancashire, is seeking a part-time teaching assistant to support the teacher, focusing on the physical needs of pupils, resource preparation and basic record keeping.

Summary Under direction, to support the classroom teacher, mainly concerned with the physical needs of pupils, preparing resources,classroom organisation and basic record keeping. The role will involve meeting the needs of pupils in relation to welfare, hygiene, toileting, dressing, feeding and mobility. To assist in the development of independent social skills and the correct use of specialist aids and equipment.
