Job summary

Teach South Kent is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Wouldham, Kent from October. This full-time, long-term role supports children with complex needs, including autism and communication difficulties, in a nurturing environment.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, help deliver engaging activities, promote communication and independence, and support emotional regulation while collaborating with teachers and therapists.

Teach South Kent is recruiting a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic specialist school in Wouldham, Kent from October.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting children and young people with a range of complex special educational needs, including autism, communication difficulties, severe and profound learning needs, sensory needs and emotional regulation needs. Every pupil has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school provides a highly personalised approach to learning in a nurturing environment.

The Role
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups throughout the school day.
