Job summary

Academics Worcester is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to join primary schools around Worcester. You will support pupils across early years, KS1 and KS2, helping them engage, learn and grow in a nurturing environment.

Flexible hours, long-term roles, and potential for permanent positions. You’ll complete safeguarding checks and register with our free service, gaining access to a wide network of schools and CPD resources.

Qualifications

• A real desire to help children engage, learn and achieve their full potential.
• Promote a positive 'can do' classroom, encouraging independence, confidence and self belief.
• Adaptable, approachable, proactive and reliable.
• UK experience of working with children (teaching, TA, tutoring, childcare) or a relevant qualification is beneficial.

Teaching Assistant - Full or Part Time

Start Date: To suit you - Before/ After October Half Term, January 2027

Teaching Assistant Role Requirements:

• A real desire to help children engage, learn and achieve their full potential
• Promote a positive 'can do' classroom, encouraging independence, confidence and self belief
• Adaptable, approachable, proactive and reliable
• Previous UK experience of working (paid or voluntary) with children (teaching, TA, tutoring, coaching, childcare etc) or a relevant qualification is beneficial. However we are happy to discuss your individual aspirations
• Completion of our free registration and safeguarding process, including ID, DBS and referencing checks
