Job summary

Choice Teachers is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Wigan on a long-term temporary basis, working 3 days per week. You will support teachers, help pupils overcome barriers to learning and contribute to a safe, inclusive classroom.

Ideal candidates are passionate about education, patient and good communicators, with experience in supporting secondary-aged students. Training and ongoing support from Choice Teachers are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar education/youth support role preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about supporting young people and education.
