Job summary

Lift Feversham in West Yorkshire is seeking a proactive teaching assistant to join our community‑focused team on a fixed-term contract until August 2027. We welcome applicants with experience across any key stage.

You will support learning, promote independence, assist speech and language interventions, and help pupils access the curriculum. A warm, flexible approach across school areas is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (advantageous if level 3).
• GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above).
• Experience supporting children in any Key Stage including EYFS.
• Knowledge of strategies to support pupils with SEND.
• Familiarity with phonics programmes such as Read Write Inc.
• Understanding of child development and how children learn.
• Positive behaviour management experience.
• UK right to work - sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to join our community focused and supportive team at Lift Feversham, on a fixed term basis, until August 2027. • Be flexible to work across any area of the school as required

You're Someone Who Has

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification - advantageous if you have level 3.
