Job summary

Flourish Education Ltd in West Bromwich is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to support children within an Early Years setting. You will deliver engaging play-based activities, support learning and development, and work with colleagues to create a nurturing environment.

Experience with the EYFS framework, a Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, and a caring, patient approach are essential.

Qualifications

Job description

Nursery Schools in West Bromwich. This is a full-time role starting after October Half Term and continuing until Christmas 2026 in the first instance.

The school require a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to support children within an Early Years setting. Responsibilities include delivering engaging play-based activities, supporting children's learning and development, and working alongside other practitioners to create a positive and nurturing environment.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting children's learning and development through engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.


• Encouraging children to develop independence, confidence and social skills through play-based learning.


• Observing and monitoring children's progress, adapting activities to meet individual developmental needs.


• Working closely with teachers and other Early Years practitioners to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.


• Supporting children with daily routines and promoting their emotional and physical wellbeing.

Required Skills and Experience as a Nursery Practitioner:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.


• Previous experience working within a Nursery or Early Years setting in the UK.


• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.


• Experience supporting children's learning through creative and play-based activities.


• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children's development.

Working as a Nursery Practitioner for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
