Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Wallasey. You will support pupils one-to-one and in small groups, helping to deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum and support children with SEND.

The role requires patience, flexibility and a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment, working closely with teachers and staff to help every child Thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school is essential.
• Experience supporting children with SEND is required.

• Flexible and confident supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school.
• Have experience supporting children with SEND.
• Be patient, caring, and committed to making a positive difference to children's learning and wellbeing.
• Be flexible and confident supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
