Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Clacton-on-Sea from September 2026. You will support across all year groups and help maintain a positive classroom environment.

Role is full-time, term-time only, with hours 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Applicants should have prior TA experience and GCSE English and Maths at grade C, plus eligibility to work in the UK and DBS clearance. The agency offers CPD and support throughout the placement.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous TA experience
GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
