Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking Primary Supply Teachers to work in local schools in Clacton-on-Sea and surrounding areas starting ASAP. This role encompasses teaching from Reception through to Year 6, ensuring effective classroom management and adapting lessons as needed.

Both qualified teachers and newcomers are welcome to apply. The contract is temporary, with day-to-day bookings available and a minimum rate of £130 per day for qualified teachers.

The successful candidate will also gain access to free professional development courses.

Qualifications

• Hold Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one.
• Provide two professional child-related references.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of lessons from Reception to Year 6.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of the pupils.

We work with a range of Primary Schools; from small village schools to large three-form entry schools. We cover classes from Reception through to Year 6. We are looking for teachers who have strong behaviour management skills and are passionate about teaching.

The position is open to both newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers. Some contracts may be extended from day-to-day bookings to longer-term cover.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yearTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related referencesOTHER
