Job summary

Aspris Tor View School in Tavistock is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our Education team. You will support across key stages, assisting with pupil work, managing behaviour, and building positive relationships in a caring environment.

Experience in SEN is valued; the role involves working alongside the class teacher and contributing to personalised programmes to help each pupil reach their goals. Training and ongoing development are offered as part of our bespoke pathway.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with learning needs and behavioural support.
• Ability to work with a class teacher and adapt practices for various key stages.

Responsibilities

• Work with the class teacher to assist children with their work and support pupil behaviour.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils, act as a role model and respond to individual needs.
• Encourage pupil interaction and engagement in activities.
• Help plan lessons by preparing materials and resources.

Due to expansion, Aspris Tor View School are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our Education team!We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistants, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support across all key stages.
