Job summary

Tudor CE Primary School in Sudbury is seeking a dedicated and friendly person to support our class teachers and pupils. This exciting role involves assisting in lessons, supporting individual children or small groups to access the curriculum, and providing emotional and social support.

The post is temporary in the first instance, starting January 2027, 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday) across 39 weeks per year.

This is an exciting new position working across our lovely school supporting the class teachers and the children.

Duties will include working alongside class teachers and assisting in lessons, working with individual children or small groups of children in order for them to access the curriculum, and to support them emotionally and socially. The duties will be wonderfully varied and no 2 days will ever be the same.

We have very well behaved and polite children and a very supportive staff team. Training for day-to-day activities will be provided.

There will be some break and lunch duty cover also.
