Job summary

Hemlock Stone School in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire, part of Outcomes First Group, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism and other needs. You’ll work with teachers and staff to deliver day-to-day support, enabling learning, confidence and emotional development in a nurturing environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration, patience and adaptability across indoor and outdoor learning, helping pupils thrive both academically and socially.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at grade C / grade 4 or above.
  • Caring, adaptable and enthusiastic.
  • Passionate about helping young people reach their potential.
  • Confident in varied indoor and outdoor learning environments.
  • Strong team player who values collaboration and mutual support.

  • Hemlock Stone School in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire opened in March 2026, and caters for up to 66 pupils, providing a specialist learning environment for young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Complex Needs.
