Job summary

Exclusive Education Ltd in St Helens is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 and classroom support within a busy educational setting. You will assist the class teacher with resources and monitor pupil progress, promoting inclusive learning.

Ideal candidates are calm, patient and nurturing, with eligibility to work in the UK and a current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply). The role offers competitive daily pay and a smooth registration process.

Qualifications

• Ideally hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3) – desirable but not essential
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Experience working with children in the last 2 years – in school or alternative settings such as youth work, residential care, Scouts/Guides, or sports coaching
• Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis – highly desirable
• Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
• Two professional references relating to work with children
• A current Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
