Job summary

Career Teachers is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across primary, secondary and specialist schools in Sheffield and the wider South Yorkshire area. Roles are ad hoc and flexible, letting you choose when and where you work, with potential for long-term or permanent opportunities for the right candidates.

If you have experience with children or young people, a positive and proactive approach, strong communication skills, and an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one),

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people is desirable.
• A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
• An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in their learning and development.
• Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils with additional needs where appropriate.

Career Teachers are currently recruiting enthusiastic, dedicated, and adaptable Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in primary, secondary, and specialist schools across Sheffield and the wider South Yorkshire area.

Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEND Support Assistant, or looking to gain further experience within education, we would love to hear from you.

These roles are primarily offered on an ad hoc and flexible basis, allowing you to choose when and where you work. There is also the potential for assignments to develop into long-term and permanent opportunities for the right candidates.
