Location: Greater Manchester (M33)

Salary: GBP91 to GBP102 per day (DOE)

You will be working with primary and secondary pupils with a variety of complex learning and emotional needs. This long-term role offers an immediate start and the potential for a permanent contract.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be helping to implement personalized learning plans, promote independence, and support students in both academic and emotional development.

What You'll Do as a Teaching Assistant:

1. Support students in small groups or 1:1 with their learning and personal development.
2. Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies.
3. Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among students.
4. Assist with personal care where required.
5. Work alongside experienced professionals to create a dynamic, supportive learning environment.
6. Foster a sense of belonging and confidence in all students.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

1. Hands-on experience working with children or young people with special needs (SLD, PMLD, Autism).
2. Compassionate, patient, and adaptable attitude.
3. Strong communication skills and team player mentality.
4. The ability to build trusting relationships with students.
5. A valid driving license (advantageous but not essential).
