Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for an Infant and Nursery School in Quinton. You will support KS1 pupils across classes, deliver small group interventions and assist teachers with classroom activities.

The role is available full-time and part-time after October half term, starting November 2026. On-site location in B32 with ongoing CPD and competitive pay rates.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in Key Stage 1 / KS1.
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning.

Responsibilities

• Work across Key Stage 1 / KS1 supporting class teachers with activities.
• Deliver small group interventions and tailor support to pupil needs.
• Help pupils engage with the primary curriculum in a positive learning environment.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Infant and Nursery School based in Quinton, who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The school supports children through the early stages of their education, providing opportunities to develop their confidence, independence and key learning skills.

The school is looking to take on a Level 3 Teaching Assistant after October half term, with both full-time and part-time positions available. The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will work across Key Stage 1 / KS1, supporting class teachers with classroom activities, delivering small group interventions and helping pupils engage with the primary curriculum.

The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working with children in Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning
