Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd, Wakefield, is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support students across KS3/KS4 and to provide 1:1 SEND assistance within a mainstream secondary school. The role is part-time and contracted, with on-site duties at WF1.

The successful candidate will help GCSE and A Level students, contribute to a supportive learning environment, and work with a dedicated team to ensure student progress and confidence.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience supporting students within a secondary school
• Experience across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience providing 1:1 SEND support
• Confidence supporting GCSE and A Level students
• A patient, adaptable and supportive approach

• Provide day-to-day or long-term cover across KS3/KS4

About the role

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in Wakefield who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and academic progress.

The school is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide day-to-day or long-term cover, supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will provide classroom and 1:1 SEND support where required, alongside supporting students with their GCSE and A Level studies.

Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience supporting students within a secondary school
• Experience working across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience providing 1:1 SEND support
• Confidence supporting GCSE and A Level students
• A patient, adaptable and supportive approach
