Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support children with additional needs across Oldham schools. Opportunities range from short-term supply to long-term roles, with flexible hours to fit your availability.

You will work across primary, secondary, and specialist settings, delivering inclusive lessons and contributing to pupils' development. The role offers 1:1 and small group support, with ongoing training and consultant support.

Essential Requirements

• Have experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), either within education or a relevant care/support setting
• Be confident building positive relationships with pupils who may require additional emotional, behavioural or learning support
• Possess a patient, adaptable and proactive approach

Highly Desirable

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, complex needs, speech and language difficulties or learning disabilities
• Experience implementing EHCP targets and supporting differentiated learning
