Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs across Rochdale and surrounding areas. The role offers flexibility for daily supply, short-term and long-term placements, with opportunities to progress to permanent roles.

Applicants should have at least 12 months experience in a UK school, a Level 2 TA qualification (or equivalent Ofqual-recognised qualification), and a solid understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management.

Responsibilities

To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, candidates must:

• Hold a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent Ofqual-recognised qualification)

Monarch Education is working with a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND schools across Rochdale and is looking to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants who are confident supporting pupils with additional needs.

Whether you're looking for daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term placements or a route into a permanent role, we can offer flexibility to suit your availability.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities

• Experienced Teaching Assistants
• Confidence supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD or other additional needs

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
