Job summary

Long Term Futures is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Nuneaton, working across EYFS and Key Stage 1.

You will support whole-class learning, small groups and individuals, deliver phonics and early literacy activities, and assist pupils with SEN, adapting to different needs while collaborating with class teachers and the wider school team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children across EYFS and/or KS1.
• Primary school experience is essential.
• Confidence supporting phonics and early learning.
• Some experience supporting pupils with SEN.
• An adaptable approach and confidence working across different year groups.
• Patient, nurturing and proactive.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS and KS1.
• Provide whole-class, small-group and 1:1 support.
• Deliver phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities.
• Provide additional support to pupils with SEN where required.

• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
• Contract: Long-term, Temp-to-Perm

Are you an adaptable Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children across EYFS and Key Stage 1?

This is a varied role supporting whole-class learning, small groups and individual pupils across the younger year groups. There will also be some SEN support involved, so the school is looking for someone who is confident adapting their approach to meet different learning needs.
