Job description

Integra Education are currently hiring for teaching assistants in the Northwich area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing assistance to pupils across the ages of 5-11 years old in both individual and group settings.

Key Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

1. Assist the classroom teacher with lesson preparation, delivery, and student supervision.
2. Provide support to students, particularly those with additional learning needs.
3. Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
4. Offer one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
5. Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback to teachers when necessary.

The ideal candidate should have:

1. Hold relevant qualifications (Level 2 TA / CACHE Level 2) - desirable.
2. Previous teaching assistant experience.
3. Previous SEN experience is desirable.
4. Be flexible and patient.
5. Be able to communicate effectively within a team.
