Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Shiremoor on a long- or short-term basis starting in September. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in a school or education setting is desirable.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Support teachers in planning and delivering classroom lessons.

Requirements or Skills:

• Recent experience working in a school or education setting (desirable but not necessary)
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands‑on experience
• Professional, patient, and supportive approach.
• Good subject knowledge and teaching ability

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
