Milk Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Leeds on a long-term basis starting in September. You will support pupils one-to-one and in small groups, collaborate with the class teacher, and help deliver engaging activities across the curriculum.

Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities
Supporting literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum interventions
Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours
Supporting children with additional needs where required
Preparing classroom resources and helping maintain an engaging learning environment
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
Supporting positive behaviour and the overall wellbeing of pupils
Recent experience working with children in a school or education setting
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Experience supporting SEND pupils is advantageous
Patient, caring and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
