Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in South Shields. The role involves 1:1, small group and class support, assisting teachers, and helping pupils reach their learning goals.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification or relevant experience in a primary setting.
  • Experience supporting children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • A good understanding of the Primary curriculum.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, nurturing and flexible approach to learning.
  • A genuine passion for education and making a positive impact.

Responsibilities

We're currently recruiting for a Primary School Teaching Assistant to work within welcoming and supportive Primary Schools throughout South Shields, on both short-term and long-term assignments starting in September.

This role is ideal for qualified and experienced Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential and creating positive learning experiences across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Your Main Responsibilities as a Primary School Teaching Assistant

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
