Job summary

Milk Education are recruiting for passionate Teaching Assistants to support learning across a range of welcoming primary schools in the Trafford area. You will work with teachers to deliver engaging activities, support pupils one-to-one and in small groups, and help create positive, inclusive classrooms.

Whether you are an experienced TA or new to education, this role offers flexible days, quick registration, and opportunities for short- and long-term placements across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience in a primary school or educational setting is desirable.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence and engagement in learning.
  • Support children with a range of additional needs, including SEND where required.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
