Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Tyldesley, M29 on a long-term temporary contract starting in September.

You will support across the EYFS setting, help deliver catch-up sessions, assist with lesson planning and resources, and promote an inclusive classroom where every child belongs. Recent school experience and a Level 2/3 childcare qualification are required.

EYFS Teaching Assistant

We're currently recruiting for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Tyldesley, M29 to support working in their EYFS setting. This role is on a long-term basis starting in September and is a temporary role.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting across the EYFS setting, responding to all children's individual needs
  • Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps
  • Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
  • Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong

Requirements or Skills:

  • Recent experience working in a school or education setting
  • Solid numeracy and literacy skills
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar - or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
